We would like to remind that in 2013 in Montreal the meeting of the 23rd World Mining Congress took place, one of the agenda items of which was the application of Kazakhstan for holding the 25th World Mining Congress in Astana in 2018. The members of the Organizing Committee of the Congress unanimously voted in favour of Kazakhstan’s request.
